Funded positions

We are offering two MSc scholarships in medicinal chemistry (with focus on organic synthesis) fully funded by the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). Positions will be awarded based on scientific and personal merit. If interested, please contact Prof. Micael Cunha including the following documents (in English):

• Letter of motivation (1 page max.);

• CV (add scientific background if any).

PhD studentships 

Any students interested in pursuing postgraduate research in our group other than the funded positions listed above should contact Prof. Micael Cunha directly; all prospective applicants should have or expect to obtain a degree (or equivalent) in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, or a closely related discipline; Brazilian-students must be able to obtain independent funding for their studies, via the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP). Foreign students must apply for their visa and self-funding in Brazil via FAPESP or the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq).

Postdoctoral opportunities

We welcome informal enquiries from potential postdoctoral fellows with outstanding research track records who are prepared to apply for independent research funding at a national (FAPESP-postdoc or FAPESP-visiting research award) or international (such as Wellcome Trust) agencies.
