On June 12, 2025, at University of Camerino, under the supervision of Professors Rita Giovannetti and Marco Zannotti, Andrea Tombolini successfully discussed his master’s thesis titled “Carbon Capture and Storage as Gas Hydrates: An Analytical Approach to Study and Optimize the Formation of CO₂ Hydrates.” The work explored innovative strategies for CO₂ sequestration through gas hydrate formation, combining experimental analysis by Raman Spectroscopy and morphological analysis by Cryo-SEM, and an optimization of analytical methods for the analysis of natural seawater.
