ECGH 24, Trieste, 11-14 June 2024 

ECH24 was held in Trieste, 11-14 June 2024, organized by all the partners of the CO2-RESTO project: OGS, that shared their buildings and coordinated the organization, UNIPG and UNICAM, with the help CNR-IFAC and Ud'A University, that partecipated as local organizing commitee.

The conference provides an opportunity to discuss challenges related to five themes : Fundamentals, Flow assurance and flow modeling, Natural gas hydrate systems and climate change, Hydrate-based and energy-efficient technologies, and Hydrates in Astrophysics.

The conference brought together the international scientific community working on gas hydrates. Around 120 people including academics (68%), research institutes (25%) and those working (7%) in the sector attending the event. 

This conference was an opportunity to promote a new cycle of European meetings, providing time for discussions and the sharing of visions to contribute to general knowledge and European policies. Moreover, we aim to open and consolidate European cooperation on this topic.
