Travel To Poznan, Poland
Introduction
Introduction
Soon you will have the wonderful opportunity to travel to a city of history and intrigue. As we previously learned, Poland, which dates back to the 6th century, has had a very turbulent, yet fascinating past. Once ruled by Dukes and Kings, erased from the map for more than one hundred years, destroyed by War War II, and hidden away behind the Iron Curtain for 50 years, Poland managed to preserve much of its historical and cultural wealth.
This WebQuest is a perfect continuation of our unit theme dedicated to Poland. The city of Poznan was established in the 10th century and is one of the oldest, largest, and most beautiful cities in Poland. You will have the chance to visit historical landmarks and museums and experience contemporary Polish culture first hand.
Visiting Poznan provides such a wealth of possibilities that it's important to have a good plan for exploring the city. Think, how can we design our stay in Poznan so we can learn, have fun, and create beautiful memories? Only one group will get to decide what we will do during our visit. Be the winning team! See the details of the challenge in the Task and Process sections of this WebQuest. Powodzenia!
