Welcome to my ePortfolio! Completing my Master's of Healthcare Administration at the University of New England has been an all-encompassing journey that has provided me with enriched development in areas of finance, ethics and law, quality, strategic planning, leadership, emergency managment and public health. This website showcases my professional learnings and applications through my Masters Degree courses and well as courses I took to obtain my Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management and Graduate Certificate in Emergency Management.

In additon, to my coursework, you will find my resume and professional experience. Initially starting my healthcare journey as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Surgery,  I have spent over 16 years within Hamilton Health Sciences, transitioning from an informal leadership position of Charge Nurse to formal positons as Clinical Leader and then Clinical Manager at the Satellite Health Facility. My drive for positive patient outcomes also enhances my passion to meet and hopefully exceed organizational benchmarks while supporting change through transformational leadership. 

I am confident this portfolio will showcase how my education at the University of New England, along with my  extensive experience as a healthcare professional can be used to positively impact healthcare environments going forward.
