Course Reserves vs eTextbooks

Course Reserves are print course-assigned books.

When a professor has placed a book on "reserve", it is held at the Information and Research Desk for everyone in your class to use, and are available for short-term loan periods. You can use these materials inside of the library or scan the pages you need to save for later.

You can search the library catalog to see if your course book is on reserve or you can walk up to the desk and ask for help.

eTextbooks are electronic versions of course-assigned books.

These don't require you to check anything out and are available online whenever, wherever you need them as long as you have access to internet!

Just like Course Reserves, you can search the library catalog to see if an electronic version of your course book is available for you to use, or you can visit the Course eTextbooks Collection on the library website.

How Can I Find Out if the Library has my assigned Textbooks?

You can use this search bar to find out if any of your textbooks are available through the Library!
