NINER COURSE PACK
Please be sure to let the bookstore know what books you are using for your upcoming courses by the adoption deadlines to ensure that your students will have access to your textbook in a timely manner.
How Can Faculty Help?
In order to make the most of the Niner Course Pack, faculty can follow these simple tips:
Make timely decisions so that students have time to compare options. Students have the option to opt-out of the Niner Course Pack by a certain date if they believe that it would be a better financial decision for them. By submitting your textbook choice early and letting your students know what you have chosen, you are giving them time to do proper research to make the best decision for themselves.
Consult with your subject librarian to see if Atkins LIbrary already offers or can get ahold of an electronic version of your textbook. For students who prefer print books, see if you can place an extra copy of your textbook in the library's course reserves.
Consider using the same textbook in all sections of a course. Along with this, take the time to compare content changes between editions and try to keep older editions when able.
