What We're About:
Representing the graduate student body of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNC Charlotte.
Providing a forum for graduate student opinion.
Acting as a voice for graduate students in matters of mutual interest to faculty and graduate students including teaching, service, and research.
Disseminating information of interest or importance to MGSA student members.
Promoting professional interest and fellowship among the graduate students.
Promote an interdisciplinary culture of social and intellectual interaction among students within the faculty.
Represent the interests of graduate students to the broader university community.
Promote, direct, and coordinate activities that will benefit the members

We fulfill our mission statements by:
Advocate to department leadership about the concerns of the graduate student body.
Listening to the feedback of the graduate student body gathered through word of mouth or virtual comment box.
Providing our student body with information delivered by our weekly newsletter.
Providing opportunities and spaces for our graduate students to practice their professional skills through seminars and workshop events.
Providing opportunities and spaces for social and intellectual interaction within the student body and department as a whole.
