JOE- BREN L. CONSUELO, EdD
EdD Professor
One of the most meaningful highlights of Joan's EdD journey was learning under the guidance of their warm, compassionate, inspiring, and highly competent professor, Dr. Joe-Bren Consuelo. He consistently enriched class discussions with real-world examples, making complex concepts more relatable and applicable to their roles as future educational leaders. Joan also felt blessed to be surrounded by cheerful and motivated classmates who brought joy to every session. The class genuinely enjoyed each learning encounter and deeply valued the strong sense of camaraderie they developed at the University of Nueva Caceres.
INSIGHT:
This summer, Joan Valenciano is truly grateful to be enrolled in three empowering subjects: International Economics of Education, Computer Education I, and Educational Leadership and Group Dynamics. These courses are not only shaping her knowledge but also refining her sense of purpose as an educator. She is developing a deeper understanding of how education contributes to economic growth, how technology can enrich the learning experience, and how authentic leadership is rooted in empathy and compassion. For Joan, teaching goes beyond delivering lessons—it is about being a changemaker, shaping both minds and hearts. These subjects continually affirm that every lesson she learns today brings her closer to becoming the kind of leader who inspires, uplifts, and drives meaningful change in the lives of learners.
