Safari Voyager Requirements
Safari Voyager Crew Only: Marine Physical
All crew on the SVO must have a valid marine physical prior to joining the vessel.
The physical needs to cover vision, hearing, and medical fitness to work aboard. Most family doctors can provide this service (although it is a good idea to phone ahead to make sure). If you have a valid Medical Certificate (as part of your MMC), this qualifies as a completed Marine Physical.
Print the Physical Examination Report/Certificate form and take it with you to your appointment, have the doctor fill out all sections. Once completed, upload a copy to Vairkko under Physical Examination Report (SVO). You will need to carry the originals with you when working on the SVO as part of a legal requirement that pertains to international vessels.
If there are out-of-pocket expenses for the physical, please get a receipt and submit for reimbursement via Ramp. Upload the receipt under Marine Medical.
Safari Voyager Crew only: St. Kitts and Nevis Credentials
All crew on the SVO are required to hold St. Kitts and Nevis credentials.
Application and checklist here. UnCruise will facilitate this process but we need you to complete the application and submit the required documents to HR@uncruise.com prior to getting onboard. If you have questions, that the checklist above does not answer, please contact HR@uncruise.com.
CDC and CoE:
All Crew: Required to have Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC) Seaman Booklet. The final step prior to receiving St. Kitts and Nevis (CDC) credentials is completing your Vessel Familiarization Tour onboard. After everything is submitted to HR, the St. Kitts and Nevis credentials will begin processing.
Deck and Engineering need a Certificate of Endorsement (CoE) prior to getting onboard. After everything is submitted to HR, processing can take up to a month. You must have CoE or the Certification of Processing (CPE) in hand prior to getting onboard.
