Students can use originality reports to check work for authenticity. When run, a report compares a student’s Google Docs file against webpages and books on the internet. The report links to detected sources and flags uncited text.

Before you begin

  • Teachers have to turn on originality reports

  • You can view originality reports for 45 days. After that, you can run another report in the grading tool.

  • Students can run 5 reports on their work before they turn it in. Teachers can’t see the reports students run. After students run their last report, they can continue to work on the assignment befor


See Live Captions in More Languages in Google Meet


We’re expanding live captions in Google Meet to French, German, Portuguese and Spanish (Spain and Latin America) speakers. They were previously only available in English. Live captions allow deaf and hard of hearing users, users with different primary languages, and users in noisy environments to participate more fully in meetings.


During a Meet call, each video call participant will be able to select the meeting’s spoken language when enabling captions.
