#PSE4ALL
Hi there.
We are a university-wide student group working to promote an inclusive campus community for students with and without disabilities.
Let's be friends. For real.
Social advocacy and justice for individuals with disabilities are topics we care about. We proactively explore these ideals by sparking real, authentic friendship among students of diverse abilities. How? By getting students together for fun weekly and monthly social activities on campus. We do this year 'round, and in the process, create opportunities for students to make real connections. Check out our recent events!
But first...
As a member of the UMSL Social Peers program, you will be expected to participate in the following:
Attend an initial Disability Awareness and Expectations Training
Meet weekly one-on-one with another student for the Fall 2023 semester
Check in weekly with a peer coordinator or coach for support
Attend monthly inclusive social activities on campus (see Events tab for info)
Meet once a semester with a small group to talk about strategies, advocacy issues, and social topics
