Carry a leafy green or vegetable mix to eat alongside your meals (est. cost of $5-10/week)
If you only eat lunch and dinner on campus, use breakfast as a chance to eat mainly vegetables
With salads in minermart and avenueC, only use the dressing to taste rather than the whole packet (it isn't necessary to disclude it entirely because there is still nutritional value, but everything in moderation is the goal of balance)
Many MinerMart and AvenueC products' main drawback is salt content (for preservation reasons). try to aim for below 30% of the daily values when looking at a product
Each meal should have about 20g of protein in it (protein is dependent on weight, lifestyle, and fitness goals so this may be slightly higher or lower)
If you don't get hungry during typical dining hours, buy and store the food for later instead of eating outside of your hunger cues
Watch the nutritional content of drinks on campus; they offer little nutritional value and take away from foods that could fulfill your hunger rather than suppressing it. Water is also more hydrating than the majority of other options.
