holi, is beginning of spring and harvest celebration. the festivity is full of and filled with holi fire, interactions, lending hand, preparing foods, sharing and serving foods, dances, colorful play and offering gratification to nature.

wishing and praying for a good harvest is a joyful initiation for well being. we all should participate for good health. puranic rituals, traditions, practices are time tested, demanding wise interpretations for current times, to gain advantage. the act of sowing, growing good, provides opportunity to harvest good.

for the holi puja, as per your traditions, will and imagination, you may bring your offerings, coconut, dhanni (popped grains), khajur (dates), water (we have it at the farm), channa (chick peas), juwar (sorghum/milo), paddy (rice)

consider to participate, prepare for the holi fire. it is a good way to extend tradition, labor and a story or two.

please do make suggestions and share your tales. we should make enough attempts for the young minds to gather the importance of the tradition.

it is going to be colder in the evening, please dress for cold weather, gloves, mittens will help to stay comfortable.
