Tools and resources for delivering the Self- Directed/Enhanced Model
This site contains resources and support for you to deliver the Arthritis Foundation's "Walk with Ease" (WWE) program using the Self-Directed/Enhanced Model. In this model, not only do we encourage walking, but we emphasize and foster social support, embrace participant co-creation and leadership, and build confidence. The buttons below lead you to resources to help you deliver this program in the best way possible for your participants.
Note: Some of the resources and activities on this site are specifically designed for University of Minnesota SNAP-Ed educators' training requirements.
Two delivery models for WWE self-directed/enhanced
This model consists of a WWE course with participants that are meeting solely to focus on Walk with Ease. Facilitators may meet with participants in person, online, or in a hybrid model
This model involves participants that are meeting for another purpose (such as a SNAP-Ed nutrition class) and add WWE on to that class experience
