Call for Lightning Talks
We invite you to submit proposals for engaging lightning talks that will spark discussions and exchange of ideas within the WISP community during our upcoming workshop. These lightning talks are an opportunity to share intriguing perspectives, ongoing work, research agendas, or thought-provoking questions.
Submission of Lightning Talk Proposals: February 07, 2025
Acceptance Notification: February 14, 2025
Each deadline is 23:59:59 AoE (Anywhere on Earth) == GMT/UTC-12:00 on the stated day, no matter where the submitter is located.
Please submit a maximum 500-word informal abstract that concisely conveys the essence of your lightning talk. Unlike traditional conference abstracts, these abstracts will not be published in the IEEE Digital Library. Focus on the core message you wish to convey to the WISP community.
Send your lightning talk proposals via email to the workshop organizers at isayas@txstate.edu.
Authors of accepted papers lightning talks will be expected to attend the workshop and present their work in person. At least one author per lightning talk must register for the IEEE VR conference in a category that includes workshop attendance. The lightning talks will not be published at the IEEE Digital Library.
