Our work is enhanced by the robust ecosystem of investigators in metabolism, diabetes, placental biology, and developmental biology at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Wernimont is a Faculty member in the Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics Graduate Program.   She is also a Preceptor for the University of Minnesota Medical Scientist Training Program.  

All trainees engage in Wernimont Lab meetings, Division of Molecular Metabolism Weekly Research Meetings, Monthly Minnesota Placenta Research Community Meetings, MCDB&G Seminars, and City Wide Endocrine meetings sponsored by IDOM.
