Our work is enhanced by the robust ecosystem of investigators in metabolism, diabetes, placental biology, and developmental biology at the University of Minnesota.  Dr. Wernimont is a Faculty member in the Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology and Genetics Graduate Program.   She is also a Preceptor for the University of Minnesota Medical Scientist Training Program.  

All trainees engage in Wernimont Lab meetings, Monthly Minnesota Placenta Research Community Meetings, MCDB&G Seminars, and City Wide Endocrine meetings sponsored by IDOM.
