What is UDAC?
The Undergraduate Data Analytics Competition is a yearly competition hosted by the Statistics Club. The competition is an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students interested in data science and statistics to have hands on experience in building models, analyzing data, and presenting their findings to judges. Participants can forms teams of 1-3 or work individually on an assigned problem by the Statistics Club Board. The problem will involve understanding and potentially cleaning the dataset, determining feature inputs for a model, and finding the best model. Participants will gain an understanding of the different models/classifiers, the process of data cleaning, and building the inputs for a model.
