What do effective discussions look and feel like in the classroom? What questions should we, as educators, consider when developing our facilitation practice? And, how can we use writing as a tool to integrate more student voices in group discussions?
In this interactive workshop, facilitated by our colleague in Student Writing Support, participants will reflect on how we hold space for students in our teaching and learning spaces. We will employ a discussion- and writing-based lesson plan featuring activities that can be used across different teaching contexts.
