The 2025-2026 Teaching with Writing Series features programming on a range of topics, including discussions on the role of reading in learning to write, Generative AI and its impact on attribution practices, and practical workshops on using peer response activities and assignment checklists.

Faculty members, instructors, staff, and students are warmly invited to register for our workshops, lunchtime panels, and reading circle. Our programming includes face-to-face events on the Twin Cities Campus (panels and workshops) and online exclusive events (online workshops and reading groups). We welcome and value all members of the university community.

All events are free for UMN faculty members and staff, but pre­-registration is required to attend.
