• $16,000 award to support a research project over a two year period  

• Carryforward of funds after two years will not be permitted

• Funds must be designated for the direct support of the research-training plan. No funds will be available to support stipends. The TRDP program supports expenses for a research project and does not cover salary/stipends, so Scholars are allowed to have an RA or TA appointment. However, scholars need to have time to devote to the TRDP project.

  • • • In general, funds should be primarily used for research and educational activities such as supplies, travel, and tuition for training specifically related to the project.

      • Funds must be budgeted to attend the ACTS Annual Meeting; about $3,500 is a reasonable amount to budget.
