Welch Allyn ProBP 3400 digital blood pressure device
Resting blood pressure
Blood pressure is measured using the Welch Allyn ProBP 3400, an industry leading digital blood pressure device with SureBPTM NIBP technology that enables fast, accurate 15-second readings. Three blood pressure readings are obtained and the mean value will be calculated. This automated blood pressure device is equipped to measure brachial pressures at a variety of limb sizes and obtains accurate readings, even in the presence of some motion or weak pulse. The Welch Allyn ProBP 3400 meets the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation standards and has been awarded British Hypertensive Society A/A rating.
Wall mounted radiometer and electric scale
Height, weight, and body mass index
Height is measured to the nearest 0.1cm using a wall mounted radiometer. Weight is measured to the nearest 0.1kg using an electric scale. The average of two measurements is used to calculate body mass index (BMI = kg/m²).
