The SIAM Student Chapter at the University of Minnesota is the local branch of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, whose mission is to build cooperation between mathematics and the worlds of science and technology. The SIAM Chapter upholds that mission by organizing academic, professional and social events that facilitate cross-disciplinary exposure and networking.
