The SIAM Student Chapter at the University of Minnesota holds many events every semester. These events are open to students, both undergraduate and graduate, who are interested in the applications of mathematics. The events fall into three main categories:
Academic
Professional Development
Social and Community Building
Some of our most popular events include the Integration Bee, which we hold every semester, and the Mathematical Contest in Modeling (MCM). Additionally, we are proud to help sponsor the Mathematics Project at Minnesota (MPM), a newly developed program at UMN we work on with the help of the School of Mathematics and GeMM (Gender Minorities in Mathematics).
