The Minnesota Inclusive LTSS for LGBTQ+ Seniors Study is a research study that is assessing the impact of a new online and in-person training regarding how to provide the best care for LGBTQ+ people in Long Term Care.
The MILLS Study was conducted from December 2023 to December 2025 and enrolled Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in Minnesota into a randomized, three-arm clinical trial. The two intervention groups received an online or an in-person version of a new training developed by experts in the MILLS Study team.
The MILLS Study is currently closed to new enrollment and is in the process of analyzing data and preparing manuscripts for dissemination.
