Currently, I am working as an applied scientist at Microsoft AI and Research. Before, this I completed my Ph.D. at RSN Lab, University of Minnesota. I worked on agricultural robotics and computer vision. I have designed multiple computer vision algorithms for yield estimation in apple orchards using ground robots and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). Some of this techniques are now in the process of being commercialized (Farm Vision Technologies). For the last part of my Ph.D., I focused on active vision and deep learning for learning from synthetic data. For details, please look at the research projects and publications page.
