Dr. Dana Carroll is accepting a PhD student!
Apply to the Division of Environmental Health Sciences Environmental and Occupational PhD Program, which is part of the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health. In particular, Dr. Dana Carroll aims to recruit a PhD student to start in Spring or Fall 2021 with research interests in reducing commercial tobacco use, tobacco regulatory science, health disparities, and cancer prevention and control. The PhD student will be mentored by Dr. Carroll who has ongoing research studies that include a broad range of methodological approaches (e.g., randomized controlled trials, qualitative and quantitative research, community-based participatory research, online panels). Ongoing research projects include collaborations with American Indian Tribes to reduce commercial tobacco use and studying the impact of tobacco product regulations on public health. The PhD student will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of world-renowned scientists affiliated with the Tobacco Research Programs of the Masonic Cancer Center.
