Finances
Personal Finances and Budgeting
While Thailand can be inexpensive in comparison to the US, it is still important to budget for things that you will be responsible for paying for while in Thailand. Daily necessities like lunches and transportation, which aren't included in the program fee, can add up if you have not planned for these things in advance. A prime example is for transportation during the internship/research phase. It is the student's responsibility to budget for the transportation cost associated with commuting during this time period.
Program Fees

Financial Aid
UMN students: In general, financial aid can be applied toward program costs. If you plan to use financial aid to fund your experience abroad, you must submit a FAFSA and touch base with the Office of Student Finance. They offer individualized meetings—called Financial Aid Preview meetings—to consult with students about financing for study abroad. You can schedule a Financial Aid Preview meeting online.
Non-UMN students: Check with your home school study abroad office and financial aid office to ensure you understand billing and financial aid policies.
