ยินดีต้อนรับ!

Welcome!

We're excited that you've chosen to study abroad in Chiang Mai on the MSID Thailand program! You'll be studying in a city that was founded in 1296 as the capital of the Lanna Kingdom in northern Thailand.

The Minnesota Studies in International Development (MSID) program model has been operating for more than 30 years. For some students, the MSID program is one of the most challenging experiences they complete as part of their college career. However, those same students also are quick to note that it is also the most rewarding experience of their college career. MSID alumni often go on to work in international development, within the US government or Peace Corps, at nongovernmental and intergovernmental organizations, or pursue advanced studies domestically and abroad. These alumni credit MSID for influencing their post-undergrad professional, academic, and personal pursuits. The MSID Thailand program will change the way you think about international development by providing you with an intensive semester-long experience that will give you insight into development from a Thai perspective

The MSID Thailand program team is here to help you prepare for your time abroad. We've designed this website to address the most common topics of interest to students. But we encourage you to contact us with any individual questions. We hope you'll have a rich and rewarding experience!
