Natural Enemies
As master gardeners, we know that all bugs aren’t bad. We spend a lot of time thinking about bees, monarchs, and other pollinators and working to protect them. These insects aren’t the only ones that provide services to Minnesota gardens and ecosystems. Many insects we commonly see in the garden, as well as some we might not notice, are natural enemies. These predatory insects do invaluable work controlling a variety of pests.
