Equipment check-out procedures only need to be followed if you are taking a piece of university owned equipment to be used and stored off campus to another location. If you regularly take your group's project or equipment to work on it or test it, for example, but then bring it back to its UMN storage location when you are finished for the day, you do not need to go through the check-out procedure outlined below. Complete the Equipment Check-Out Form (complete everything above the "approval" section).
Email the completed form to kerrim@umn.edu for approval.
If there are any questions or concerns you will be notified accordingly.
