Q. How many student group vehicles/trailers does ME have registered with Fleet Services currently?
A. Two trailers.
Q. Who approves the group's PO's now?
A. ME Undergraduate Program staff will receive and approve purchase orders. They will reach out to you if the group is submitting a request for more than $500.
Q. If the group's property is not deemed an asset (ie. a snowmobile that was given as a gift) and the group would like to dispose of it, must they submit a decommissioning form?
A. No, only if the property is considered an asset. It should have an asset tag attached to it.
Q. If the group's property is not deemed an asset, are they allowed to dispose of the parts?
A. Yes.
Q. The group needs a new computer. Who is responsible for paying for this?
A. The group needs to fund the purchase of a new computer and should factor this in when submitting funding requests from CSE, ME, and SUA. They may also consider working with CSE IT to see if there are some retired but viable machines for use.
