Registration Details for November 13 and 14
Thanks to the generous support of Symposium sponsors, the planning committee is pleased to offer waived registration for Indigenous and tribal attendees, as well as Symposium volunteers and interns. We are also offering reduced fees for students. Registration includes breakfast and lunch on November 13 and 14, and dinner on November 13.
Registration tiers:
Standard Registration Fee:* $150
Tribal Member / Identify as Indigenous:* $0
Tribal / Indigenous Registration with Institutional Support:* $150
Students (Non-Indigenous / Non-Tribal): $50

*Each of these tiers includes the following registration categories with the same fee throughout: Professional/Government, Educator/Researcher, and Other (non-student). Only those within the "Tribal Member / Identify as Indigenous" tier qualify for a waived fee.
Optional: Registration Details for November 15 Fond du Lac Food Sovereignty Site Visits - Full; Currently a Waitlist
As an optional "add-on" for Symposium attendees, Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is offering site tours highlighting local tribal food sovereignty initiatives. Join us for visits to Spirit Lake Native Farms and Na'enimonigamig (Fond du Lac's kitchen/cannery) on November 15. Registration includes lunch.

Students (Non-Indigenous / Non-Tribal): +$20

Attendees are required to find transportation to and from the sites; we encourage attendees to carpool.
Due to the limited capacity of the host sites, registration is limited to 50 people. Interested registrants will be placed on a wait list after registration reaches capacity.
To register for November 15 programming, follow the instructions on the "Optional Add-Ons" page during registration. You should select 1 of "Add-On: November 15 Site Visits - Fond du Lac Food Sovereignty Program" in the dropdown menu.
Cancellation Policy
Updated November 2, 2023 to reflect extended registration deadline: Registration officially closes November 3rd at 11:59pm. Please let us know no later than November 3rd if you need to cancel your registration. If you cancel by November 3rd at 11:59pm, you will receive a full refund. For cancellations made November 4th - 5th, we will provide a 60% refund (standard fee = $90 back; student = $30 back). Any cancellations made on or after November 6th cannot be refunded.
This policy does not apply towards the "Sponsor an Indigenous/Tribal or Student Registration" add-on. That add-on/sponsorship is final at the time of check-out -- and deeply appreciated. Thank you!
