About the Manoomin·Psiŋ Knowledge Symposium
Honoring Manoomin·Psiŋ through relationships, reciprocity, and respect.
Join tribal members and agency leaders, students, researchers, colleagues from NGOs/non-profits, federal and state agency representatives, and others from across the Western Great Lakes for two-plus days to share knowledge and build relationships with Manoomin (Ojibwe)·Psin (Dakota)·wild rice (English). Participants will have opportunities to engage in community panels, facilitated workshops, and poster sessions on topics such as: monitoring; harvesting and processing; restoration and stewardship; culture; and climate adaptation.
The Symposium draws on research collaborations and partnerships across the region.
