Let's get this party started
...by doing some paperwork! 🥲
IM/MedDerm Admin Checklist
GME Data Exchange -- Due Wednesday, April 1st. See email from imres@umn.edu for details and link
2026 Intern Survey -- Due Thursday, April 2Â
2026 Lab Coat Order -- Due Thursday, April 2Â
Transition Individualized Learning Plan -- Due Friday, June 5. If possible, please download a copy to fill out with a mentor or advisor. If you can't arrange for that, you may reflect and fill it out on your own.Â
RMS Checklists
We use a Residency Management System (RMS) called New Innovations (NI). After the GME Data Exchange is complete, you will have several checklists to complete in the RMS system. Instructions will be sent to you after 4/1/2025 directly from our GME office.
Deadlines will vary, but please check it in early April to get as much done as early as you can. There is A LOT to do!
VA Onboarding
The VA does not use checklists in RMS. Please be on the lookout for emails from Heidi or the GME office regarding the TQCVL. Onboarding for the VA typically takes 6-8 weeks to accomplish! You CANNOT wait until orientation starts to begin.Â
You will need either a passport or a Real ID for the VA's onboarding. A driver's license that does not meet Real ID standards will not be enough.Â
Please let Heidi know ASAP if you do not yet have either of those documents. You will need to apply for at least one of them ASAP, and we will need to adjust your rotation schedule to ensure you will not be at the VA during your first rotations.
