Core Skill 9: Find, download and do basic editing of legally-usable images

We use images in just about everything we create for print, web, presentations, social media, video, etc. There are Extension communication guidelines for using images that you should be familiar with, but for the technology core skills, knowing where to find images that are legally sourced, how to crop, resize and adjust photos and how to take a screenshot are valuable skills for our Extension work. 

Working with images skills

• Utilize the Extension Image gallery and University image galleries

• Crop, rotate, add filters and adjust photos in the Windows Photo editor

• Take a screenshot using Windows Snip & Sketch
