Extension Core Technology Skills 

The core tech skills relate to Extension staff use of computers, technology literacy, attitude and awareness.

Email and calendaring are essential tools for our daily work life. 

Google Drive can store all of your documents. It's important to know how to manage them.

We should all be familiar with participating in and hosting an online meeting and webinar.

Web browsers take us everywhere on the internet and search engines help us to find the  information we need.  Everyone should understand the basics!

Creating accessible and branded content is a  requirement of all Extension employees.  It's also the right thing to do! 

Understanding AI means grasping the basics of what AI is, how it works, and recognizing its common uses and limitations in your Extension work.

Images are used in everything we create. Knowing how to find, edit and use images is a valuable skill.

Everyone using a computer should have basic troubleshooting skills, understand how to use Windows and where to go for help.

Take an active role in securing your information by learning more about strong passwords, avoiding threats and developing safe habits.
