Ren Bin Lee Dixon is an Artificial Intelligence policy researcher who has authored award-winning policy papers on AI governance. As a Policy Fellow at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP), Ren Bin has made significant contributions to AI policy statements for governments aiming to govern AI responsibly. Ren Bin also collaborates with the Center for Security and Technology (CSET) on a series of papers addressing AI incidents. Before transitioning to her policy career, Ren Bin spent over fifteen years in the fashion industry, working in Malaysia, China, and Denmark, and is currently based in the United States.
Shanda Hunt, MPH is the Research Data Services Education & Outreach Librarian for the Research Data Services division of the Libraries. She leads efforts to bring educational opportunities about data management, sharing, and preservation to the UMN community. With a background in public health, she also curates human participant, health sciences, and qualitative data for the Data Repository for the University of Minnesota (DRUM).
Anya Mityushina is a seasoned data leader with over a decade of experience in analytics and artificial intelligence, driving strategic growth across tech, finance, and manufacturing. She holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics Engineering from George Mason University and currently leads data foundations and advanced analytics team at LinkedIn, building scalable infrastructure to power go-to-market strategies. Known for fostering talent and leveraging innovative tools, Anya thrives in collaborative environments. She occasionally shares insights through speaking engagements and contributes her time to mentoring and volunteering in data-focused initiatives.
Hayley Borck is the Managing Director of the UMN-wide Data Science Initiative, where she defines and executes both long-term strategy and day-to-day operations. With over 12 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence research and development, Hayley holds an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. She is passionate about solving complex problems with creative, elegant solutions and is committed to supporting the success of women in the field.
