All 5XXX and 6XXX IBUS courses can count toward electives.
The MBA Program International Experience enriches students' education and explores topics that have a profound impact on business around the world. Students may fulfill the 4-credit International Experience Requirement by:
Participating in a Carlson Global Institute Graduate Student Program
Global Enrichment Programs -- 1 or 2 week, faculty-led abroad program
Global Immersion Programs -- Exchange program at a partner business school for a partial or full semester
Participating in the MILI 6997 Global Valuation Lab Program in the Bay Area
Participating in FINA 6920 The Business of Asset Management Program (Funds Enterprise Students Only)
Complete a minimum of 4 credits of "glocal" courses
MGMT 6035 Complex, Cross-Cultural Negotiations (2 credits, offered in spring)
MGMT 6041 Competing Globally (2 credits, offered in fall and spring)
MGMT 6305 International Environment of Business (4 credits, offered online in summer and in person in spring)
MGMT 6311 Developing Cultural Agility: Leading and Collaborating in a Globalized Workplace (2 credits, offered in spring January session)
MKTG 6072 International Marketing (4 credits, offered online in fall)
Note: Students that previously completed IDSC 6465 Emerging Technologies & Digital Transformation (4 credits) or SCO 6081 Global Operations Strategy (4 credits) may use those courses to satisfy this requirement.
