Context Matters: Organizers
Matthew Zent is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota. His research is centered around understanding how online community norms shape the design and research of sociotechnical systems. In his work, he has explored the effects of anonymity on social support outcomes in online recovery, designed privacy-preserving tools and approaches for data sharing in edtech, and developed an ethical framework for navigating community-level impacts of research.
