Hardware Interview Questions
Fairly comfy, loose on a few fingers, weight distribution feels a bit top heavy (wants to twist out), Notice after a while, force sensor position was immersion breaking.
How stable is the device on your hand? Did you have to move more cautiously to not have it fall off or get damaged?
The loose straps were the only concern, and only when hitting the table. Otherwise the thing felt like it tracked really well.
Closer to a button pushing when trying to pinch or use force sensors, physically it feels like a glove.
Feels a little restrictive when trying to close the fingers. Notice it less at the end because you don’t see it in game.
Hard time with getting a grab, could have been a mental disconnect, lag, or software issue. Frustrating getting your hand in position and not being able to read the motion.
Application Interview
Do your in game actions feel like their real life counterparts? ie does picking up an apple feel correct? Are there any particularly bad exercises?
The apple and the laser pointer were not consistent, or he may have had a lack of understanding of how to grab. “Felt like it was grabbing it but it wasn’t reading it”
It seemed good and was very helpful in completing the exercises that needed it.
[Bisson] “There are people from a therapy standpoint who would definitely need the table”
Laser pointer was much physically harder. The sensory difference between actually and virtually grabbing things (haptic feedback is missing)
See above
Trunk control (though she doesn't see it as an issue). Had to help with VR movements where you wouldn’t have helped otherwise.
Grabbing was not consistent or accurate. This could have been glove or app related.
