Your active and supportive involvement plays an important role in developing youth who are thriving, ready for life and ready for work
Many 4-H volunteer roles require volunteer screening, which explains the policies, expectations and vision of serving as a 4-H volunteer. All 4-H volunteers should genuinely enjoy young people and be committed to their positive growth and development. In return, Extension Center for Youth Development staff will provide training, curriculum, coaching and feedback for success.
There are some volunteer roles that play a supportive arm in our programs alongside youth that do not require our full screening process. For more information contact your local 4-H office.
