At the end of your program year, it is essential to evaluate your Ambassador Program. Evaluation and monitoring are vital to sustaining and improving our programs. Additionally, they are crucial for demonstrating the impact of the program. View the Evaluation Resources page to explore resources for evaluating ambassador programs.
Local 4-H Educators are expected to collaborate with the Ambassador Advisors to:
Develop and implement a tool to maintain accurate records of all youth and adult participants (e.g. through attendance sheets) and report participation to the local staff person (e.g. turn in attendance sheets). View the Evaluation Resources page for suggestions.
Plan for when/how to incorporate Youth Program Quality Assessment (YPQA) observations.
Complete the annual Ambassador program survey each fall. The annual survey will be provided by the CEL team, and results will be shared with local program staff if at least 10 youth participate.
