Alienna Glenn

introduction

My name is Alienna Glenn and I am an undergraduate in my junior year at The University of Michigan studying Biology, Health, and Society on a Pre-Medical studies track. As a Biology, Health, and Society major, I am interested in medicine itself as well as the implications and influences the healthcare field has on society. I am interested in women’s health disparities and am intrigued by the field of obstetrics and reproductive health.

  • My personal interests include painting, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

I have been working in the Violi group since my sophomore year. Our project focuses on streamlining the process of identifying nanoparticles as antimicrobials to combat the global issue of antibiotic resistant bacteria.
