Professor Violi has been selected to receive the 2015 ASME George Westinghouse Silver Medal. This medal is awarded to one who is not yet 45 on June 30th of the year of the award and recognizes the distinguished service and achievements in the power field of mechanical engineering. Congratulations to Dr Doohyun Kim! Doohyun just graduated with PhD in Mechanical Engineering and stayed with the group as a postdoc in January 2016. He will be working on the development of comprehensive surrogates for conventional and alternative jet fuels and CFD simulation of diesel spray.
