We invite all University of Michigan Robotic Department graduate students to submit their original OR past research for poster and oral presentations. The symposium will take place on Tuesday April 29th, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 1:20 PM in the Ford Robotics Building Atrium and FRB 1060.
Paper Submission Requirements to be considered for Oral Presentations:
Eligibility: Open only to PhD and MS graduate students in the Robotics Department (or Robotics Affiliated*) at the University of Michigan
Full paper submission deadline (for oral presentations): Friday April 4th, 2025
Papers will be submitted via the Paper Submission Form.
8 page limit including references, appendices, etc...
Papers will be sorted into poster or 12-minute oral presentations
Talks will be judged by a panel of professors. The top two posters and top two presentations will each receive $100 cash prizes.
Submissions for Poster Presentations follow the same recommendations, but the deadline for submitting is extended to April 6th.
Accepted posters must be submitted by April 16 to be eligible for free printing.
Note: While we recommend full paper submissions for poster presentations, there is no minimum paper requirement.
This is a great opportunity to share your research, gain recognition, and connect with fellow robotics researchers at U-M.
For more details and submission guidelines, visit the Submission Guidelines or contact Brandon Apodaca (bapodaca@umich.edu).
*Robotics affiliated includes students whose advisor(s) have an appointment in the Robotics Department.
All papers must be in English and submitted electronically in PDF format to this form. To ensure formatting compliance we recommend using the IEEE Article Template Selector with "Conference" Publication Type, "Original Research" Article Type, and your preference of "LaTeX" or "Word".
