Doug McClure
English, German & Education
Teaching German (to 120 students daily!) at Swartz Creek High School in Brighton, Michigan since 2023.

Isabel Matias
Anthropology & Psychology major, Italian minor

Pursuing a Masters of Social Work at U-M (2026)
Emma Loewenstein
Psychology & Sociology
Taught fourth graders at a Waldorf school near Freiburg as part of a FSJ (Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr).

Adrian Beyer
Asian Languages & Culture, Women's & Gender Studies, Sociology
Pursuing a PhD in Asian Languages and Culture at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, with an interest in LGBTQ+, gender & sexuality, and migration studies. He is now studying Lao, after Thai and German
Zofia Ferki
Creative Writing & German (Class 2020)
Freelance contributor to The Onion and Reductress and co-creator of comedy website, The Whole Wheat Post, which parodies the health and wellness industry.
In 2021, moved to Hamburg, Germany, for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship.
Started doing stand-up comedy shows in English and in German and intends on pursuing stand-up as a full-time career.
