Second, we're officially releasing applications for the 2026 Executive Board. Applications are due Tuesday, 11/26 at 11:59 PM, and we'll announce the new board by Sunday, 12/07.
Applications are open for all five of our roles. You can find full descriptions of each role at the top of the form.
1. President: lead the club for the year, planning the schedule of events, the goals of the project team, the strategy for growing QuantUM, and raising funds and resources.
2. Vice President: oversee club operations, assisting other board members via keeping an accurate budget, ordering food and making room reservations, submitting receipts to SOAS, and coordinating with club members.
3. Events Coordinator: take charge of planning our events for the year (with a focus on larger-scale offerings), including planning the agenda, contacting guests and partners, finding venues and resources, and communicating event vision and details to the Marketing Coordinator and Vice President for advertising and support.
4. Project Team Coordinator: lead the Project Team for the year, deciding what project the team will work on, organizing weekly meetings with team members, curating resources to enable the team's success, and recruiting and onboarding new team members.
5. Marketing Coordinator: cultivate QuantUM's social media and campus presence, recruiting new members and encouraging returning members to actively participate in events and activities by maintaining the club website, attending club fairs, and disseminating club promotions online and on campus.
The application is open to anyone, so long as you will be enrolled at Michigan and on-campus for the Winter 2026 and Fall 2026 semesters. You may apply for as many roles as you wish. The application consists of a few general questions and two specific questions for each role.
If you are applying for eboard, we ask that you attend our upcoming Board Game Social on Sunday 11/16 (more below) so we can get to know you better and connect with your application. If you're unable to make it, send us an email at quant.u.m-requests@umich.edu.
