The QuantUM project team provides students an opportunity to further engage with quantum technology via hands-on education. This semester, the inaugural project team is working on a Quantum Arcade, featuring classical computer games reimagined with quantum phenomena like entanglement and superposition. The team meets weekly, and is open to students of all majors and experience levels.

Thanks to everyone who could make it to the first meeting! During the meeting, we split up into groups to brainstorm possible games to develop with quantum twists. Each group pitched their idea to the entire team, and we voted for our favorite ideas at the end. It was great to see everyone's enthusiasm for quantum science and hear the amazing game ideas. Out of all the ideas, our team will be pursuing the following Two Games:
Each game will have a group of 4-8 developers. During the next meeting, we will be forming the groups for each game based on an interest ranking. If you cannot make it to the next meeting, I will contact you after the next meeting to determine your group.
Check out the MEETING SLIDES for key background information if you missed Saturday's meeting.
