ANSWER: as follows:
Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency in internal medicine, family medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, or surgery.
-AND-
Current board certification or board eligible leading to certification in the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) Board in internal Medicine and/or its subspecialties, Surgery with specialization in bariatric surgery/procedures, OB/GYN, or family medicine, or UMHS approved international equivalent.
